Use this pin configuration to make your own rj-11 6 pin to db9 cable

if you wire it wrong aka flip the pin numbers on rj-11 the ultimeter 2100 lcd display is going to fade, and serial out put stops, to fix, remove power and backup battery and sett up ultimeter 2100 agene. The ultimeter serial port survives… Iv tested

Today i made my first qso on 23cm. The setup in my end, TS2000 connected to 1296MMT transverter putting 2 smal watts inn to a 23cm biquad antenna, the antenna was sitting in the basement window pointing towards LA3EQ in JO28xj 76km away. QSO was carried out on the mode jt6m. I heard la3eq realy good when we got the antennas lined up… but he did not hear me. After a while 3eq figured out the problem (bad solder in preamp) and then we were able to hear itch other and I got my first qso ever above the 70cm band.

I’ve been industrious in the shack, making my self some antennas. First up was a 13cm and later I made a 23cm. The Copper sheets I got from the local tinman, and he cut them to my needs, the piping I found in my clutter box.

How do I get ISCAT mode to be accepted by LOTW ?
This question is common and the same problem as we had whit the mode JT6M
First get your log program to accept ISCAT, in hamradio deluxe open logbook, and from the Tools menu choose Configure, and then mode its self explained
Then you need to open the LOTW software TQSL. From the file menu choose preference. The dialog box will appear, and from the tab ADIF modes you make a new entery. ISCAT and from the list you choose DATA. The result shod bee:
Your all don, upload your log to LOTW and wait for others to upload :-D

Endelig fikk jeg papir qsl kort fra cuba, 1 oktober 2010 dagen hummer fisket begynner, kom kortet fra CO2WL. QSO’n hadde vi 27-04 2010 18:12 PSK31. Jeg har lenge hatt Cuba bekreftet via LOTW men manglet papir kortet fra dette landet.

I'm planing to stay some dayes at Hovden (JO39QN). Will take with me 4m station, 20 watts and 5 elements yagi. I can't promise all week activity but will try to do my best. It will be announced later here or KST chat. The take off is not good for VHF activity but I hope for some QSO's.

A while ago I made a 70cm antenna. This was made from an old ski pole and some very thick copper wire I had lying in surplus box.

For en lang tid til bake fikk jeg et Ea4tx ars kort av Erling la4fpa, Det var problemer med elevasjons delen på kortet, men Erling hadde fått en ny modul av Pablo EA4TX, så den saken var en enkel fix. Nå som 6m åpningene hagler inn her i jo38ma, fant jeg ut det var på tide og bruke kortet til noe fornuftig. Tiligere har det stått på testbenken, koblet til min Yaesu g-1000 dsx og en acturator fra en gammel parabol.

Åpning på 6m
